What Insurances Do You Take?
We accept most insurance including Medicare, Medicaid, Health Advantage, Cigna, Aetna, Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care, Qualchoice and Novasys. You can call ahead to the office to have staff verify your benefits and determine the applicable co-pay or fees. A referral from your primary care physician is only necessary for chiropractic services if Medicaid or an HMO is your only insurance. Physical therapy requires a referral from a physician for all insurance.
How Much Does It Cost If I Don’t Have Insurance?
We do offer a cash discount for patients without insurance. You can call ahead to find out what the cash rates are.
Manipulation is usually pain free. The point of manipulation is to reduce pain, not cause it. A relaxed patient is adjusted the most easily. Occasionally, extreme tension on behalf of the patient can make manipulation more difficult. If the patient is suffering from a fresh injury, it may sometimes be recommended to wait until the following day to adjust to reduce discomfort due to soreness. With injury, adjustment can speed the recovery process, so same-day adjustment may be recommended in spite of some mild discomfort.
While adjustments are not usually painful, some patients do experience some soreness after the first treatment as the body learns to adapt to proper positioning.
Correct spinal alignment allows your body to function at its optimum. It reduces pain associated with misalignment, injury to joints and muscles, and helps prevent joint problems that worsen with age and wear. Proper alignment also encourages total wellness of the body, promotes a healthy immune system as well as good physical and mental condition.
Your first chiropractic visit always consists of a thorough examination and medical history. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled visit to fill out paperwork or bring your completed paperwork with you. X-rays may be taken and treatment will normally start on the first visit. You will be kept completely informed through the entire process to ensure you are comfortable. Additional therapies will be performed if necessary. A typical first visit lasts between 30 to 45 minutes.

Chiropractic adjustments are typically not a “one and done” event. While you commonly feel immediate relief from your pain, in order to train your muscles to hold the proper position, an appropriate treatment plan will be recommended. You won’t be forced to follow a treatment plan, but we highly recommend you follow any treatment plans recommended by the doctor in order to achieve the best and long-term results. After your treatment plan has ended, you will be re-evaluated and released from care or determine a new treatment plan. Treatment plan longetivity and intensity are determined based on the type and severity of the condition being treated.
